Any larger versions out there? It is a lovely image but too small a resolution for my monitor.I'm afraid I don't know of any larger resolution. I don't quite know if there's anything.

Battery life has been awful since the upgrade and seems to be getting worse. Daily charges and sometimes more frequent. This is after charging at the soonest 1.5 days since I got the iPhone 4.

that's what I'm thinking... to support a iTunes cloud and new mobileme services, I would expect exabytes... Doesn't seem that big of an order.
See below.
Have you ever heard of deduplication?
Exactly - assuming Apple stores everything in HD + SD @ 2GB/hour of HD and 1GB/hour of SD, that's over 4 million hours of video (since 1PB = 1048567GB).
If iTunes goes 1080p, it would likely be stored as about 4-5GB/hour + SD, or about 2.5 million hours of video.
If (and it's a big if) this is open to iTunes subscribers, it will likely be only for content you buy off iTunes, so there will be no duplication.

I thought the i-series couldnt handle a dual setup, only some of the higher end xeons. Hence no dual mobo's for i7's.

You can do that with something like Podcaster or Instacast, but not with the stock iPhone.

Mine for the month.
I got it from interfacelift fairly recently so it should be on, or near, the front page.
Found link if anyone wants it- http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/2450/raein.html

No, beeing synced/registered using a Mac or another computer has nothing to do with it.
It should be recognized anywhere as long as you have the latest itunes version installed.

Until the FT reverses route, the ONLY rational response is to either not buy the FT at all (there are competitors out there) or buy it at a news stand.
Where has been the outcry during the last 50 years during newspapers have used this for their subscribers?
So, the moment somebody offers a newspaper subscription that asks the user via a non-modal interface whether to share its data, you decide which newspaper you prefer on this basis. And if somebody had offered a newspaper which by default does not use your data (ie, requires you to check a box instead of unchecking) in the past you would have immediately switched to that newspaper?
Except that you naturally didn't do any of that (despite also naturally there being newspapers which by default do not use your data, eg, currently the The Economist).
All this grandstanding, just at the opportunity to use some strong words.

I'd really not like to see Safari become the next IE 5. It already has its share of JavaScript bugs.
exactly! once there is no safari for windows, there is no longer IE for mac (even if it wasn't the same for windows) and any of those for linux, looks like the web standards will be what firefox and opera "decides".
apple should worry about improving new features for the browser like tabs, page thumbnails and etc... html, javascript and css they have to make work like every browser does (or should). and javascript and css are not working well in safari right now.

Always think of Jeremy when I see a Clubman.
That scene was him driving the Ariel Atom (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v4YNkurhLk), though I'm sure the effect on one's face would be much the same in the Caterham.

...You can check out the age of consent for most anywhere in the world here (http://www.avert.org/aofconsent.htm)...
Sorry if this repeats but I've just scanned through the first couple of pages and am about to go back for 3-5 but I'll agree with the general feeling so far;
Once the son is 18 the parent can't allow or not on this issue. As for the argument '..while you're under my roof...' depends on the lease, but in the example raised the guy isn't going to be under the parents roof so that's moot.
As for the site in the link above, that makes interesting reading. I particularly like the US Traveling citizens being 18. Does that mean if I were to sleep with a 17year old American girl who was on holiday here Id be breaking the law of America without even being there? Would I get prosecuted next time I visit Disney, how would that work?
What do people think the age of consent should be? I think that if we have to put an age to it it should be no more than 16 probably 12/14 but I think a change to the way the subject is dealt with in the education system would/should also be required.

Fact: You don't have to jailbreak the phone to access the info - it's on your hard drive
Fact: This issue was brought to Apple over a year ago - not a week ago.
Ultimately - as long as they fix the "bug" - all will be "ok"
The rest of that rhetoric is PR saving ass crap. Fact.

I prefer to opt-in instead of opt-out.
Sure. If that's what it takes, let's uncheck the box by default and let Apple provide the info to the publishers.

Our Inuit brothers, up in Nunavut, will look after them, and they can put the money to good use.
