Liking the white iPhone is a personal preference. Some like it, some don't. IMHO that thing is sweet!!! :D Not that I am running out to get one, but I do like it.

The torrented MPEG-4 or H264 saved movies of the Keynotes that I have seen were captured using
screenshot-apps such as Snapz Pro. They usually weigh-in at approx. 160 MB for 90 minutes.

Apple Declared 2011 the year of the iPad 2. Why would they do that if they had plans to release iPad 3 as the hanging chad for 2011..

Even though the iTunes Store exists in a lot of countries, far from all countries that have the store also have movies on offer. In Switzerland for example, movies only started to being offered last year. In Germany that happened in 2009.
Checking the first six letters of the alphabet (ie, countries starting with a,b,c,d,e,f), only six out of 23 offer movies.

hmmm never thought of it that way...I still disagree because while my car doesn't get scratches that often from driving, driving and small impacts from stones is very different than getting rubbed on a desk in a bag with keys, etc etc. I would not put a small, painted car part in my bag or on my desk without some sort of protection. Would you? Do you know a lot about clear coats? I'd like to hear more (being serious)
I don't know more about clear coats besides my personal experience with differing qualities of such on motorcycles and cars. A thick clear coat is quite resilient.
On the other hand, my Macbook aluminum unibody had the underside scratched a lot from simply rubbing in my bag and on my desk. Bare aluminum is hardly scratch resistant, at least not more than a clear coat.
And the beauty of the proper clear coat : You can always apply wax to it or a compound which will make it look brand new. Or you can reclear it. Bare aluminum ? Good luck.

This is a misnomer. It is not glasses-free 3D. No image is protruding from the screen. Also, the Wii has done this already. It looks a lot better in that it tracks not only your head but your depth of field.

The Nintendo 3DS is based on stereoscopic so it is 3D within a certain viewing distance (adjustable, but fine with a small gaming portable with not as much processing power).
I would imagine this sort of thing requires a dual-core A5 processor/graphics?

Phil Schiller is a terrible presenter, perhaps he's a nice bloke.
Watching it in the UK at around 11.30pm last night, it quit out after about half an hour, and the quality was a little choppy before then.
Why did they decide to present the MacPro before the OSX leopard stuff? Maybe cos they didn't want to wheel Phil Schiller on at the end?
With regards to Jobs looking ill, lets face it, he works hard, and he's knocking on a bit now. Must have been a pretty hectic period shifting over to a different chip.

I guess I'll be pre-ordering one of these tomorrow since my 360 is still MIA. Gives the cops a month to track it down. If I don't have my old one back by then, I'll grab the Elite.
Doesn't seem that bad a deal since it comes with an HDMI cable and the new 120 gig HD will retail for $179. The black color will also match most of my electronics (except for the Wii).

Better reliability and recovery options. Get that Beachball of Death out of my face! Finder should not be able to bring down the whole system. No, Restart Finder doesn't always work, and even when it does, performance can suffer to the point of stalling. OS X should drop to a command line and automatically restart.

The 750 HD option is on the Mac Pro as well as the 24" iMac. If I didn't know any better, I'd say they changed the layout on several of their store pages too.

If it is just school there is no way I would give anyone my laptop, phone, etc.. I would offer to shut it off and put it away.. Maybe businesses but schools? They cannot confiscate anything. What are they going to do throw you in jail? BS all the way! Would have told them to go screw and call the cops if they persisted to try and take it and prob would have walked out.

So are these guys getting a fair trial? Are they exempt from cruel and unusual punishment? Oh, that's right, that little lack of human rights thing...
I really think Apple should step up and make sure these guys aren't treated unfairly or overly harshly, even *if* they leaked the design. Frankly, that would be the *only* course of action for a civilized company like Apple to do.
I don't think that will happen in the near future... It's a foreign country and Apple really dislikes that their products get leaked... They still haven't forgiven gizmodo for the iP4 leak...

As it still has a second socket, it must use Xeon 5000-series CPUs. The CPU in the 3797$ SP configuration costs 1663$ alone, whereas the CPU in 2499$ Mac Pro costs 294$.
That same applies to your link which makes it useless.
