Contact a good attorney asap. Your details would most probably raise anyone's eyebrows at USCIS/DOS/ICE. Also, a lot depends on exact dates when you entered/left US and when your different applications were rcvd by respective govt egencies as these details will help you to establish that you are not in violation of any US laws. Hi,
I'm in H1B visa and my visa was valid until 26th October , 2012. Recently, I went Bangladesh and US embassy stamped visa until October 23, 2011. When I returned US, Immigration office issued me I-94 validity until September 23, 2011. Now how long I can stay in US?? Do I need to apply for H1B visa extension or I will go to Canada or Mexico to apply for new visa or if I go to Canada or Mexico and return back, they will issue me a new I-94 until Sep/Oct 2012. Any one please suggest what should I do?
Your stay is legal until your I-94 specified date. You can get it resolved by INS or go out of US and reenter (which may turn out to be faster). And this time while entering make sure Immigration officer puts right date on your I-94.

I, a July 2 filer, got receipts last week. EADs came on the weekend. No APs yet. Seems like USCIS is still very much backlogged. Taking infopass etc is unlikely to help much. Best is jus wait for another 2-3 weeks. Best of luck...

Hey Friends,
I got an I-485 interview in next month. I have few questions...
I have the two issues....
1)Selling tobaco to Minor,happened in 2002(when I was helping one of my friend who is running a Convenience store,by mistake I handed Over a pack of cigarett without asking his ID.Unfortunately he was one of the Kid arranged purposefully by the department people who checks on toboco sale to Minors)
2)retail theft happened in 2005(when we went to walmart with our 4 year old daughter,we did not see a considerbly small toy in her hands,while we are making payment to the other stuff we bought)
Both the Incidents occured accidentally,we did not do anything purposefully.Both the cases were dismissed as Nolle proscue. the 2nd case was expunged too .I do have the documents stating that they are dismissed and 2nd case was expunged.If you want to have a look at them,
And also i pointed in I-485 application---No in the field of cases....
can you guys suggest me,if anybody have the similar situvation...

EB3 is an overloaded ship, either you had to abandon(read porting to Eb2) or unload few of them (removing 245(i) cases from Eb3) to reach the target.
Abandoning can take an year for most of us - PERM Approval time line for now.
Unloading will never happen in this economic scenario
So we had to look for lifeboat saving to do the miracle. If any one finds it let me know am ready to grab it.

I was in Canada and came back to US last weekend using AP. I only had two documents. They asked for three but I told them that I only have two and that is all I got from USCIS.
They made me wait for 15 minutes and then stamped both AP documents and gave it back to me with an I 94 and entry date/stamp.
I believe you should have your Advance Parole document and not with the immigration.

Today my lawyer sent me my receipt numbers for 485, EAD and AP. when I enter my AP receipt number to check online status I see the following...
Application Type: OS155A, IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On August 30, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
Anyone know what this means... It doesn't say I-131 in application type..
Second disturbing thing I noticed when I entered my 485 number...
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Fingerprint fee rejected and notice mailed; case in suspense.
On August 23, 2007, we rejected your fingerprint fee and mailed you instructions for how to submit the necessary payment. This case is now in suspense. Please submit your payment with our notice as soon as possible after you receive our notice so we may resume processing of this case.
My lawyer says the checks have been cashed and we have proof of this.. She says it can be a typo..
Most weird part is for my EAD it says card has been ordered.. but I haven't even done finger prints and my 485 is in suspense..
Anyone any idea whats happening.. should I be worried about OS155A and 485 things..
