Any group action, please join me in.
I was audited in October, 2007. After I responded the audit letter in November, there is really no progress at all. Let me know if I can do something.

You think you can make people who are not even aware of 'day trading' the greatest financial experts, by your 'blogs' (where are they?)
I don't want your 'cake', for that matter anybody's. You eat well (and have stomach problems). Why bother to educate this nonsense here.
I asked because when you try people to this trap, you should have the basic decency to tell atleast how much you lost!
if people are interested in financial investments and if they have enough knowledge, surely they won't come here to read your crap. Anyway those who become educated reading things here are destined to lose.
i dont understand why people wants to contradict in every post, chintu is trying to share some knowledge if u dont want it thats fine u dont need to contradict it....even i dont do this stock stuff but that does not mean i should contradict it...

US Senate Committe on Small Business and Enterprenership (http://sbc.senate.gov/record.cfm?id=267960)
Senate Passes Key Funding for Womens Business Centers
Wednesday, January 24, 2007
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today the U.S. Senate unanimously passed an amendment sponsored by Senators John Kerry (D-Mass.), Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine), and John Sununu (R-N.H.) to create a grant program for established, successful Women's Business Centers around the country. The provision is now part of the minimum wage legislation being considered on the Senate floor.
"I've been working for 21 years on the Committee to promote expanded entrepreneurial opportunities for women and secure funding for these centers which help turn ideas into jobs, start-ups into success," said Kerry, Chairman of the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. "I cannot stress enough the vital role Women's Business Centers play in cities all around the country, like Boston and Worcester. This amendment ensures we will be providing women-owned small businesses the tools they need to grow and flourish."
"We cannot afford to ignore, or minimize, the extraordinary contributions America's business women are making to our economy, our culture, and our future. The achievements of women entrepreneurs are undeniable. Women-owned firms generate almost $2.5 trillion in revenues. They employ more than 19 million workers and are the fastest growing segment of todays economy. In my home state of Maine alone, more than 63,000 women-owned firms generate an astounding $9 billion in sales," said Snowe. "Today, I am pleased to join Small Business Committee Chairman John Kerry and Senator Sununu with this amendment so women small business owners have the resources, the support and the opportunities they need and deserve."
Senator Sununu said: "Women's Business Centers contribute to the strength and diversity of the small business community, as we know from the great example set by Portsmouth's facility. Centers that have performed at a high level should have the option of applying for additional help to enable their important work to continue. The Senates action today marks an important step in the effort to preserve critical funding for WBCs in New Hampshire and across the country."
The amendment is similar to language that passed out of the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship last summer as part of S. 3778, the comprehensive Small Business Administration reauthorization bill, which is based on the Women's Business Center Sustainability Pilot Program Kerry created in 1999.
Specifically, the amendment allows established Women's Business Centers to apply for 3-year grants on an ongoing basis. This permanent stream of federal funding is critical to helping the Centers secure matching private funds. This amendment also prohibits the Centers from sharing information about their clients without their consent, unless the information is required by a court order or to do an audit of the center.

You are able to walk/ run even if you cannot raise the full amount.
$300 and $500 are targets we set for people to work towards but you can still walk/ run if you cannot raise the full amount. Also, we are suggesting your target amount to be raised over a period of one year and we will be giving out tips for fundraising. The target amounts we set are very nominal and it is fun to raise funds as part of a walking/ running team. I have helped some friends and cousins raise funds for Extrahands, Susan Comen Foundation etc. and it is so much fun and a lot of quality time spent with family, freinds etc. A lot of organizations have mandatory fund raising goals. They set targets like 3500$ to 6000$ and if you cannot raise that amount your credit card will get hit with the balance. However we kept Team IV's fundraising to be voluntary just inline with our organization's goals.
I have already got my Aunt and two of my friends to sign up for Team IV so far. We are going to train together at least once a week and we will organize a fund raising party and contribute all the proceeds to IV.
I am sure you will have lot of fun with this.
So this $300/$500 collection target is something to work towards, but once I am in the team, I get to run/walk even if I am unable to raise the full amount, right?

"Charak says (In Sanskrit): Rinam Kritwa Ghritam Piwet ..."
I remember, some one mentioned to me about this same stuff. Centuries old charwak philosophy "Just do it kind of mentality" which led to hippy culture in 1960. Its seems to be making a come back :)
Its borrow or steal but live happily :)
Good points by the way. All this shows that we have to prepare for long years as this economic and social conditions are expected to last atleast until 2011 as per economic experts.

Guys,
Its not a bad idea to put in efforts for citizenship. See it this way. We are already waiting for GC for years and will have to wait another 5 years for citizenship.
If all these useless wait is counted towards citizenship, then the wait at least yields some results. Right?
I am not saying we should not focus on GC. But if all these years of wait are really used, that would help EVERYONE. The ones who got their GC and the ones who don't have GC yet.
So no fret over this matter.
I think what GCPerm is trying to do is good for all, if we succeed.

I am not a kid. I know these things. Read properly what he said.
"It is possible that the filings could be discontinued later in July"
I just wanted to share this information with you all guys. I am not gaining anything by putting this in this forum. If you feel like taking it, take it else ignore it. There is no harm in sharing.
And let me say for the second time...It is always POSSIBLE that USCIS may stop accepting applications mid month...does not usually happen, but these are unusual circumstances...but this is nothing new.
As has been discussed innumerable times on this board, plan on submitting your paperwork by the 10th to be on the safer side.
By starting a new thread, and putting a sensational heading on it...you don't help anyone. It is advisable to go back and check if this issue has been discussed on some other thread

Thanks Lasantha for your reply. I am not sure if employer can call on my behalf and get an update on my application??. I did explain to my employer that to get an update I can call USCIS but they want an update from USCIS in writting to keep it on my employee file in the HR dept. I am not sure if USCIS will reply to the inquiry in writing or not. (I think by law, they have to, right??) what is the amiling address at NSC???
I filed for my I-485 myself without the help of a lawyer.
My employer (a small business) has never gone through the GC sponsorship before me and they are not familiar with the process.
